Xbox 360 Game Review - Resident Evil 5

Xbox 360 Game Review - Resident Evil 5Node 78 Games Feature
By Vince M. Stevens

Love it or hate it, the one thing you can't blame the Resident Evil series for is a lack of willingness to experiment and expand with the times. After a couple of rather dry sequels, RE4's announcement that the game wouldn't feature any 'true' zombies made a lot of long term fans quite upset. Despite all of the odds, the game actually turned about to be an excellent example of modern survival horror, providing you didn't play it on the Wii or PC.

Resident Evil 5 is set in Africa, somewhat of a unique location as far as the undead are concerned. You play as Chris Redfield chasing a threat of bio-terrorism on the continent which, no surprise, turns people into various types of undead. The plot itself is interesting enough, especially if you're already a fan of the series. If you've never played a Resident Evil game before you can still follow everything with relative ease, although there are a couple of things that might go over your head.

Xbox 360 Game Review - Call of Duty 4

Xbox 360 Game Review - Call of Duty 4

Few series in the gaming world have been so varied in terms of quality quite as Call of Duty. Many console owners have only really had experience with 3rd game in the series, an Xbox 360 only installment that was developed by a different company from the original games. Call of Duty 3, while not a terrible game, wasn't a great example of what the series can achieve under the right direction.

Traditionally set during the Second World War, COD 4 has moved the series forward to the modern day, swapping out the traditional Japanese and Nazi enemies for a more contemporary battlefield focused around terrorism.

Xbox 360 Live - Halo 3 Multiplayer Review

There's no denying that as single player campaign, Halo 3 is an amazing game. We'd go as far as to describe it as one of best gaming experiences you can get on the 360, providing a solid and worthy continuation of the series.

But single player isn't what many people think of when you mention Halo 3. They think of XBOX Live, and of the vast multiplayer experience the game offers. The online community for the game is still thriving despite being released in 2007. We take a look at what the game can offer players who've not considered the Halo series as an option for online gaming in the past.

Xbox 360 Game Review - Star Wars - The Force Unleashed

Xbox 360 Game Review - Star Wars - The Force Unleashed
By Vince M. Stevens

Star Wars games have made countless appearances on home consoles and arcades in the last thirty years. They've been of various qualities, from the amazing Rebel Assault 2 and Jedi Knight to the rather terrible last gen games based off the new license. Is Unleashed one of the duds or is it actually worth the purchase?

First things first. Unleashed is really only enjoyable if you're a Star Wars fan. Unlike previous original XBOX games like Knights of the old republic and Battlegrounds which were serviceable games in their own rights, Unleashed really does only work as a Star Wars game designed for the Star Wars fans. You can't really fault the game for that, but it's worth noting.
